Summer 2019 was the birth of the Quartier Community Block Party. The aim was to bring people together, connect different communities, create different experiences for the youth and give back as we wrap up the summer vacations.
The day features basketball games, flag football, music, haircuts, food, various activities and giveaways. EVERYTHING IS FREE. Accessibility is important and we want to assure that families can enjoy a day of love; worry free.
Year by year, our community Block Party is solidifying itself as a staple cultural moment of the summer. We managed to scale the event with the support of some sponsors, local businesses and volunteers who offered their time and resources to make this an impactful and unforgettable experience for our community.
